Crystal Palace fans boycott semi-final replay v Man Utd after fan killed, 1995 - A Palace supporter had been killed following the drawn semi-final the previous weekend. 

 He had run into traffic during a brawl between rival fans. The Palace director Colin Noades, brother of the chairman Ron, voiced the concerns of many when he suggested Palace fans should boycott the replay, which he insisted should have been postponed as a mark of respect. Many heeded his call. Fewer than 4,000 supporters of the South London club turned up to see their side lose.
