Harlow beat Leicester, 1980
Harlow beat Leicester, 1980 - Harlow, of the Athenian Premier League, had already played five FA Cup ties – winning against Margate, Lowestoft, Hornchurch
before they met Leicester in the third round. A draw at Filbert Street was reckoned by many – including Brian Clough, working as a television pundit – to be the ultimate limit of the club's ambitions. But in the replay – with a young Gary Lineker playing on the wing for second division Leicester – Harlow won with a scrappy, toe-poked goal from John Mackenzie, a company accountant.
