Norman Deeley.

A versatile winger who starred in the all-conquering team from the mid-1950s. He became a first-choice in the second title-winning season of 1957–58, scoring 23 goals and missing only one game. He followed it with 17 more the following year in missing only four games. He had actually made his first team debut on 25 August 1951 in a 2–1 win over Arsenal ad left in February 1962 to join former colleague Bobby Mason at Leyton Orient. Deeley won two caps during his time at Molineux for the England national team, making his debut on 13 May 1959, on a tour of South America against Brazil, and winning a second and final cap four days later against Peru. 237 apps, 73 goals.

Jimmy Mullen.

Jimmy Mullen - Speedy left-winger who gave Wolves 23 years service. He was given his debut by manager Frank Buckley when only 16. Three League titles and an FA Cup - not a bad haul, Mullen had played for England and in 1950 made history by becoming his country's first substitute in a full international when he replaced Stan Mortensen against Belgium. 15 minutes later he scored. He played in both the 1950 and 1954 World Cup finals. He helped Wolves in 1954 become champions of England when the wing play of him on the left and Johnny Hancocks on the right was a feature of the side. He was also a regular member of the team who again won the title in 1957–8 and 1958–9. 486 apps, 112 goals.
